Temensis growth rate?

Just curious if the growth rate on temensis? I currently have two and they're about 8 months now and they're roughly about a foot in length. Wondering if growth slows at a certain size or is it consistent growth throughout each year

I read they can get like 15" in their first year but that growth spurt slows down after that

No way really. I never dout a fellow Cichla keeper but that's hard to beleive. I got my tems 1 mounth ago and grow double.

It's not a problem if they keep growing as ill be doubling the gallons of my tank within a couple months. Just wondering bc I'd like to eventually put my grow outs in with them hahah

I have two tems who are aroughly 6", got them three months ago at 2.5 - 3"
they are eating shrimp, krill, pellets and blood worms

moved them from the 30 gallon after about 2 months, they are loving the 120.
blink of an eye they will be moved yet again
