Temensis Peacock diet

Usually it eats pellets and krill. I decided to give it a feeder, an African Cichlid hybrid. The cichla is now 6", the feeder was 3". Hit it instantly, and to my surprise, swallowed it whole. There was no tail hanging out the mouth. It was GONE. Then two hours later, it was time to feed the cichlids. It ate 3 large pieces of shrimp too. This Cichla is truly monster. I might feed it more often as it can definitely handle more food. I'll work on some update pics.

Tems are definatly eating machines...My wifes monsters give me a shower every time I start to drop food into thier tank. Of course the other Pbass are not much better....LOL

I get the same thing. As soon as I drop food in the water, I get a shower.

Yeah. My tems can really pack in some food. I think maybe it's easier to see in their bellies than other pbass due to their longer, slimmer structure, but they do really eat a ton. Mine have got from 4-12" in about 5 months.
