Ok so I'm startin a tank and I want my tem, when I get it, to sorta be the center of it. So which of these fish do you think will be okay:Mangrove snapper, dorado, hampala barb, barramundi,VATF,or Payara. Also there would probably be a frontosa an achara catfish and a aristochromis chrystii and maybe a red devil.
Thanx

The frontosa would have a hard time competing with a temensis for food. If the red devil and the temensis were of similar size the red devil could bully or perhaps even kill the temensis. A. Chrystii could work. I guess an ATF could to. A barramundi would also work but it would eventually outgrow the peacock bass. I have never kept mangrove snapper before but I have caught my fair share of them (assuming you are talking about Lutjanus griseus) They grow very fast and feed very aggresively, I am not sure how it would work.

Yeah i'm not sure about the red devil because he is pretty aggressive and has been by himself and killed quite a few other fish so I dont think I would put him in. Anyone else? :)

if you want a temens to be the center of the tank dont get those fish. they will take away from the temens. hampala and odrado might work, though. id get hero cichlids and different shovlnose species. try dither fish too.
