i wouldnt say too hot, they are tropical fish
but that is pushing toward the hotter side

may i ask why your tank is that hot?

89dF is too hot for most tropical fish for long term. They will be ok for treatments, but long term that will start to do damage.

Depends on what your keeping, for those chichlids its probably ok but I'd drop it aout 4*. For Pbass, its best to keep them at around 86*. But you should probably be fine.

just make sure you you have the water moving good, or even add an air stone.. the hotter the water gets the less oxygen it has... especially when you start to hit the 90 range...

thanks for the advice i have a huge air stone strip goes almost length of back wall i lowered the heaters as well have not checked temp just got home
