Temp and behavior

I know this topic has been discussed ad nauseam but I wanted to share my experiences over just 3 days.

I have about 13-1400 gallons worth of aquariums, across 14 running tanks.
The majority are in a room in my basement- see icon photo.

I’ve always kept my tanks in the 74-76 range- going back to 2000 or so.
Recently I noticed reclusive behavior in my (2) 180’s- specifically a black belt in one and a pair of bifas in the other.

Well I increased temps to 80 degrees and it has been night and day.

The activity level is higher- the fish are personable with me, instead of retreating.
Colors are richer too.

Feels like a brand new day and hobby.

Lol i want to see all the tanks really enjoying seeing peoples tanks. Great for ideas on set ups plus who doesnt enjoy looking at fish.

I take terrible photos and there’s tanks on 3 walls of the room so there can be reflections
As soon as I try to take a pic they all hide below is an assortment of bad photographs and the fish I’ve kept over the years

Nice the pics r not bad. U got some beauties there. Love the pic of that geo to. And your GT looks big u still got um. Cant wait to see your festia when it gets bigger. That fish is going to be a stunner i can tell already.
