Temp Controller

I am confused about the different stages temp controllers come in. I plan on running two maybe 3 400 watt heaters on my tank. Does each heater need its own stage or can i hook them all up to one with a multi-prong plug? never used a controller before but im starting to see it as a good investment.

Do you have the heaters already?

There are some cheap titanium heaters with built in controllers that are cool.

Nope, just get the standard Ranco controller. The different stages are for controlling things such as chillers for salt tanks. The most you want to do is have an extra outlet added to the controller.
