Was wondering what's the safest temp I could keep my cichla at? My dominant orino is really getting to the point where it'll need to be seperated. I threw in some Silver $'s tonight but it's apparent they're gonna do what they can to try and eat them.

Update: I dropped the temp down to 80F and added 3 1/2 dollar size silver dollars last night. All 3 made attempts to eat the $'s but they're clearly too big, but it seems to have calmed things down a bit, at least the pbass have something else to pick at rather than eachother.
I'm going to be adding one of Rapps Kelberi next week hopefully, I'm not sure if I'll be adding it to the 210 or the current 75. I'm hoping there isn't some huge problem!

Good luck man, I moved 6 of my peacocks (5.5-7") in with my 20" aros. My aros dont pick at them or chase them, but my bass are still scared ****less. I moved them because they were fataly injuring my two 4" ocells that i just got.

I could see temp affecting aggression in that fish take cues from temp as to when to start breeding etc.

You could have triggered something by doing that. Or even a h2o change.
