I have a commercial 75g fish tank that came with 30g sump, chiller, UV sterilizer and a massive pump.
Just recently found out the chiller is not working...and I am presuming to why the temp became so high...85-86 degrees
. It was on, but it not creating cold water. Customer support think that's why temp is going up.
Anyhoo, how do I lower the temp to a more stable 80 degrees? Thankfully, I live in Florida, the tank is in my bedroom and the AC is on 365 days a year.
In fact, it was 85 degrees outside today....
Also, would the UV sterilizer be the cause for the increased temp?
Ive used to have a 30g in the same room, and without a heater it used to be much lower, around 76-78. So, I am not sure whats up.
Any advice would be most appreciated...
