the impeller in my sc70 gal broke, i put the biomax into the tank and out a powerhead with an air hose to pump air into the tank.
a ac110 is coming next week for the tank.
is it ok to put my clowns into the tank right now? it has all of the biomax in the tank and this tank has been set up for 2 years now.
i can also do water changes twice a week.
it would be 2 6 inch clowns and 4 3inch clowns and maybe a 3 inc dat

This is one of the reasons I preach so strongly about not ever relying on a single filter system...however as long as the bio-mass is still in the tank and your providing water flow and gas exchange with the powerhead then you should be fine until you get the new filter set up. Just bump up the water changes and test frequantly to avoid spikes.

yes you'll need to have fish in the tank to keep the BB alive.

right now it has a con and a fh in there, but i want to make it into a cl tank since they are in different tanks and the cl in their tank right now are scared of the other fish so i want to do it soon

I would test water params daily, and have a good supply of prime in case of ammonia spikes. Should be OK though with a couple W/Cs a week. Definatly gotta agree with the multiple filters though.
