just making sure, as long as the fish is too big to swallow, the poly will just leave the fish alone right?

as long as your other fish wont fit in the bichirs mouth and you have adequete filtration they will be fine. they are messy eaters
depends, if it does not fit in your poly's mouth but smells yummy. then there will be some attempts. specially during lights out!
also i have discus in the tank, i know at nighttime they go out hunting, but at nighttime my discuses like to sit on the bottom, will my poly take a bite out of the discuses? the discus are too big to swallow, but im worry the poly will bite my discus at nighttime
Not always peaceful, my senegal takes some decent sized fin chunks outa his tankmates every once and a while...
