Is a new tank okay as a overnight temporary tank? My paratilapia is a ass hole and attcking my jardini cant use my set up ten gallon due to it has a hospital patient right now.I am going nuts help please:nilly:

do you have filters/heaters ect for it?

if so then yes.. just try to get some established media in there to help keep the water in check...

if not.... then its not something i would do

Its only overnight.

A fish can stay in anything that holds enough water for it. As long as its heated and has some movement, so a air pump and a heater. i have a couple of 3'' ACE falcatus in a 5g bucket right now being hospitalized. I have alot of air and a heater, thats it. They have been in there for 2 days and I am doing daily 50% water changes with new meds each day. As long as you do not let the parameters get away from you in a small tank it is fine. But a tank with no water movement and no heat is a death sentence. IMO

Its just my paratilapia beat my jardini up i care more for the jardini and i had a spare 38 with filter so i stuck him in the garage in the tank with a penguin 330 wrapped in towels do you think thats okay?
