I was wondering if anyone has used a temperature controller or similar products. My problem is that my 180 has two 250w stealth heater. on the temperature dial i placed it at 79F and today when i got home it was at 84F:irked: . this has been a problem for me. i do not want to fry my fish due to a crazy heater nor do i want to risk anything else. any suggestion on brands and types of temperature controllers? I want the heaters to shut-off at 78-79F and that's it. i don't want it higher nor lower, that is my goal. :) replacing the heater is an option but if the new heater makes the same mistake i got a high price to pay.:irked:

Ranco temp. controller is the way to go. I use them to control multiple heaters on several tanks, and they work flawless. JEHMCO has them. Look them up online, give them a call, and John will hook you up. :D
