Hey guys,

I've been reading this thread and I've been wondering about my Marbled.
https://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/threads/are-we-keeping-our-cichlids-too-warm.698744/

What temps do you guys keep your rays in? Would I be safe with 20-22°C?
If so, that'd be a hell of a lot of savings if I can unplug my heater or keep it on the low 20s to be sure it doesn't drop below.

Since all that's with it are CA/SA fish, that's something I would love to consider.
Slower metabolism also means less food, etc. If I get me a female hystrix to try to hybridize them, I could change my mind, but since there are no plans just yet...

Any input you guys could give? :)

Marble rays come from warmer than normal water for rays. I've found that mine are the most active and eat best at 83 to 84 F. I tried 80 and lower and they acted sluggish and didn't eat much.
