hell everybody. i guess you could call this a stupid question but i guess i need some reassurance. what is the temperament level of a wild caught red devil and how would they adjust to living in a fish tank.being pure, are they more aggressive thank the domestic ones (midas/rd mixes)

i have wild discus and i know it take them a couple months for them to start being themselves and actually show there full colors.

id think it'd be mad aggressive, you could probably keep it alone though without too many problems

i know thats the plan. but i have a red devil now that somebody i know is really interested in buying and i was thinking selling this one and getting a pure rd.
white to

sweet. i mean i say if you aren't too attached to the one u have sell him and get the WC

Though discus are still cichlids and semi aggressive. A red devil I think would dominate the tank...........

what do you mean by wc. and the only thing holding me back is thats its wild and im afraid how it will do in a tank.
If the tank is large enough (ie 75g+) then it will do fine, but it will most likely need to be kept alone due to aggression. And WC = wild-caught (whereas CB = captive-bred).
