temperment diferences between caribe,reds,and piraya?

i can say this to ALL fish not just piranha.. every fish are different in their own way. its up to individual fish itself.

for sample you got 3 caribe...one will be shy, other will be aggressive and last one will be both. i guest they just like human. mood and attitude.
 
What rice has said is true, but typically, red belly piranhas will be the most shy or skittish piranha of natteri.. Of course it varries, but caribe, piraya and terns can show more boldness, security when in groups.. All in all, they all have personalities and will be different. Great thread.

ive owned reds, and there deff were diff personalities. having no experience with piraya i am much interested in them.
 
I have no experience with piraya, and hope to get some when I move into a house, probably a year or so.. I would like to get atleast 220g, with about 4-5 different species, a test, but should have success... Piraya are known as the kings of the Natteri family, so I think it would be special owning a few.
 
I have own ALL pygo as from red bellies, caribe, tern and piraya. i can tell you that Caribe seem to be the most aggressive one. Tern are nice in group and piraya are the biggest of all pygo. red are mostly shy. they all got own temp.
 
Sticky is has got it MADE when it comes to piranhas. Lucky lucky... :)
 
Mal i gotta tell ya...when im into piranha you dont even know how much im into it. i drove 4-6hrs just to get the piranha i want. i got 9 tanks up and running at one point and 300g are my biggest. Here is the following piranha i had own
 
I dont see, is there a list, or what? Well im glad I FOUND someone with as much passion about these fish as myself.
