im doing an expo in the middle of June on reptiles and amphibians at my own table at a botanical garden

im doing it on Florida's reptiles and amphibians, native and non native
i will have a table with tanks holding the animals i will be showing
and i already have most of what i need but not everything

i caught a black racer yesterday which is obviously a necessity for my expo, and i wanna somewhat tame him before i go showing him to mostly little kids, and as i don't want him to stress out when he is surrounded by people, and when little kids are touching him (i could hold his head, but still, i dont like that idea has he could hurt himself while struggling) and hell probably stress even more

any suggestions??

what would be a good temporary setup for like 2 1/2 weeks until my expo?? as he will be released after that

he is 3ft

ive seen that before lol

im sure this'll work lol, thanks

i really want one now lol....... not this one tho XD

theyre some of the coolest snakes we have

Have you had him in the same room with other herps yet? If not, please let him go immediately. If so, he's yours. You can't re-release herps; the possibility for transmission of disease to wild populations is too great.

In my experience racers never calm down, and usually won't eat well in captivity.

hes in a plastic tank by himself, i need to wait till wednesday so i can get my 20gal (im only keeping him for like 2weeks)

i dont keep herps together unless theyre the same species, or very similar and its safe
