Temporary Monster tank Divider pictures

Need suggestions on how to put a temporary divider in my tank.
i would like to divide temporarily my tank in 2.
to give my arowanas less pace when i comm them.

My tank is 8x2.5x2.5 feet. I would like to use only half when i mix my big arowanas together.
i have acrylic dividers

my problem is still how to hold the dividers, Suction dont last as my tanks glass get algae.
any suggestions how to hold the dividers firm;ly in place??

Build a frame to go around the divider (I used egg crate) with legs extending out for stability using 1/2" CPVC. Fill it with sand before you glue the last cap on so it sinks nicely.

Try putting some rocks at the base and then having a 2x4 go over the top with some paracord attached to keep that the top in place.

Thanks one problem is i can't access/reach the back of my tank its too deep/wide and the tank is also against the wall

2.5 feet deep by 2.5 feet high...doesn't seem to be impossible to reach. Can't a small step ladder be used to get better access?

I use a ladder , but i have a tree in front of the tank do cant place ladder well ill take a picture later. Also im afraid to lean against the glass
