what are the proper water temp ranges for....

tiger shovelnose
redtail shovelnose
marmoratus
i also have what the lfs called a lepoard shovelnose, it looks just like my tiger but it is spotted instead of striped

temps for all these fish mentioned should be best between 70-80 f. As for the leopard shovelnose, I have never personally heard of this fish, and I get no hits on fishbase.com or planetcatfish.com for either of them. I would say it is either Pseudoplatystoma corruscans, or the porthole/spotted shovel nose-Hemisorubim platyrhyncos. There's very little info for this fish, but there are some members that keep this fish that could be more helpfull. I think it is more likely H. platyrhyncos than P. corruscans. It is just way more common to see. Also when you say red tail shovelnose, do you mean the hybrid red tail catfish crossed with tiger shovelnose? Hope this helps. Just treat your leopard shovelnose as you would a tiger. Shops are always just coming up with random names for fish becuase they're a little different to the 'normal' fish. I'd keep them at about 27 - 29 celsius.
