So, I have a 300g decision to make. I'm putting a 300g(w) into my wall, and I'm torn on the manufacturer. Dimensions are 96" x 30" x 24". I have 2 companies I'm working with, and it's down to Tenecor or Aquart. As you would expect, the Tenecor is more expensive, but not my *that* much.

I have purchased a 300g from Aquart in the past, but that was close to 10 years ago. I had no problems with them or the tank. I know there is a little bad blood with someone having a front panel break loose, and a payment issue.

I have had a 240 Tenecor in the past, purchased 2nd or 3rd hand. I had no problems with that tank either, but I know of a large Tenecor tank that had a structural failure as well.

So, help me decide so I can purchase this tank this week.

Clay,
Aquart took me for ~3k. I would highly recommend tenecor :)

Hard to say. There have been quality questions about tenecor on a few tanks I know.

Hey Clay,

Why dont you just go big and get Freddy's 900 gallon tank for 5k. If you looking for something smaller I might have a buddy looking to unload a smaller tank. PM. and I will let you know

I would go bigger, but it MUST be 96" long, no more. I have a steel support beam that's in the way. I'm perfectly fine with it being there, so I'm not looking to move it. I'd like something around 300-375, but my attempts to get something in that size have been fruitless.

And yes, I'm getting acrylic.

I'm halfway considering glass cages with a Starphire glass front...

The tank isn't going anywhere for a long long while. I'm just trying to get a good tank for my wall. Why is this such a pain in the ass?
