Tens of THOUSANDS of fish DIE!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
That's nothing, part of the nature's plans.

There has been examples of this many times before. Kind of recent, they had tons of sardines die at some beach over here. There was a storm all the sardines got scared to shallow water and all suffocated from low oxygen levels.

We had some fish kills along the coast. The local media made it sound like it was an apocalypse, the people who actually lived there said it happens every year. High temps, little to no wind is not good for bait fish like shad that are normally very delicate.

lake erie.. and no walleye where killed? lol. But yeah glad they are doing an autopsy just in case.. but nature has her ways of balance.

This also happened here in some of our lakes, but it was due to overcrowding of fish pens which caused the fish kills.

Doesn't surprise me too much, I mean this is the same lake that at one point was so polluted it caught on fire.

Not sure if I'd blame nature 100% on this one.

Well it appeared to be only several species were affected so it's most likely nature. Especially the large carps they were vulnerable to summer kills due high temperatures and lack of oxygen given the fact Lake Erie is a shallow lake.

The fact that we have everything to do with how high our current summer temperatures are and how much the water is affected by the dissolved solids and other waste that we have put into it makes me believe that its not 100% natures fault.

Not saying that nature didn't cause it, ie: heat and lack of oxygen. Just saying that we helped at least a little along the way.

Or it could be a natural muck that got stirred up combined with summer temperatures and the lack of oxygen. My friend, it is part of the nature's works as it has nothing do with us at all.
