ps Love the tentacle snake!

awesome!!! how much do they eat at a time? do you only feed rosie reds? do they eat nightcrawlers or crayfish?

I've just used rosy reds for now... I havent gotten into adding some more local resident fish like barbs or loaches, just because I dont want to spend $3ea on a meal. But the rosy reds are gutloaded and fed with spirulina enriched foods... crayfish (dont even keep them in tank anymore, they tend to nip on the tails), havent tried nightcrawlers... I might try ghost shrimp, but i'll do that when I have the chance.

I've had mine take a thawed out smelt a couple of times when we were low on feeders. Any problems you can think of with doing this? Can't find many people that keep these guys.

I'd say stick some reptomins in the fishes mouth... add a little more vitamins and minerals... thats about all I can think of. I was told they tend to get a thaymine defiencies (cant spell), so that is why its recommend to gutload the feeder fish.
