They're from Singapore which make me believe they don't have an extensive knowledge of english, hence the short sentences and wording. I think they're looking for ways to obtain the tortoise from breeders or wholesalers.
Neither do you seem to have any sense of an extensive idea of what a tortoise and terrapin is, or for that matter, you have no idea at all how they are even different. A comprehensive google search might be a little more essential than the excessive need to get one and kill one through neglect.

Actually cupcake, if you verse yourself in common nomenclature for Testudines, you'll see "turtle", "terrapin" and "tortoise" used interchangeably to describe animals of the same genus or family depending on your geographic region. Lets not pick on folks for being unfamiliar with the common names you use to describe animals in your neck of the woods.
Luc, ask around at pet shops, Singapore is usually good for many kinds of animals. You just need to find the right person.
Ehs...sorry if you took the post as offensive, but it was what I interpreted as a lack of intention of providing proper attention and research to what he intends to get. As for the turtle, tortoise and terrapin thing... I'll clarify through PM.
