Right now in my 220 I have a 7-8" Female Jag and Male Freddy along with two plecos. I am going to try and put my 4-5" Female Jag and My new 3" gold mota in there as well. I got tons of plants, rocks and driftwood to help break the tank up and give the little guys plenty of places to run if they need to. The only problem is that any motion near the top of the tank gets immediate attention from the big jag and freddy. How can I get them away from the net when I introduce the new guys? I need a way to break their focus from whats going on so they will give the lil guys even the slightest chance to find a safe place without being bullied immediately. Any advice? How do you all put in a new fish to established tank, right after feeding time maybe? Thanks and let me know

I would take the bigger guys out, put the smaller ones in, then put the big guys back.

Yeah I was thinking of either doing that, or maybe introducing a school of like giant danios first? Keep the bigger guys busy with those? Still havent decided yet dont want to see the lil guys get hurt

easy, either remove the bigger fish OR feed the bigger fish at one end and introduce the other new ones at other end.
