I had a small swarm of termites in one of my bedrooms in at my house. This is pretty freeky to me because they are the drywood ones.(At least I am pretty sure). I will have an exterminaor come to check things out next week. Swarming is when they break away and form new colonys if I am not mistaken.
The problem I have is all my tanks are set up in one half of my garage. I have read a few articles of how people handle this situation. The real problem I have is what to do with my 220. I can not move the fish inside. The 75s are no problem. The 150 is not set up yet.
I am actually considering sealing thej tank and running an outside source of air.
PLEASE if anyone has first hand experience or knows of someone please let me know. I am very very nervous about this.

Seal it with plastic wrap or whatever, and then get a ton of air tubing and put the pump far away from wherever the termite guy is working.

I've never done that, but it seems like it would be fine.

Years ago...I've used flea bombs with set up tanks. I used plastic paint drop cloths and blankets to weigh down the plastic. I wraped my air pump in a blanket and stuffed it in the cabnet under the plastic. I did not have any deaths. I would guess that termites will take much longer than fleas to kill. Flea treatment was 4 hours. If I were you I would buy extra air hose and keep the air pump outside the house.

Best of luck to you!

Thx guys. I think the treatment is about 3 days...... I will keep ya posted

You should look into orange oil, no need to tent and completely fine for inhaling.

ive heard some bad stories about this kind of situation. I would advise you move all you can and seal all you cant.
