like a clay pot?yes as long as its unglazed it is fine

I've never used them and I'd definitely never use them in a display tank, they're ugly as sin...
But I understand their purpose in breeder/quarantine tanks.

I have them in all sizes in all of tanks. holes, cracked pots, partially barried in sand and regular side ways they make great decor, caves, and spawning sites.

<- says it all... i like them so i dont have to uproot plants everytime i want to move things around.. and oddly my fish dont dig them up anywhere near as much.

All of my tanks are technically "display" tanks, hahah, even the growouts/QT XD It's funny, ^ makes me laugh since I NEVER thought of using the pot as a REAL pot *fail* Something to do whenever I start doing plated tanks, everything's plastic right now :B
