I recently found a terrapin, diamond back or somethin like that, and it doesnt appear to be in the best of shape. I think that a cat got it or something, it lays really low and just drags all toghether. Any suggestions on helping this turtle?

just an update: It is doing a lot better!! i kept it in a 10 gallon alone and changed its water everyday. it is eating and doing fine. It is not in the 20 gallon with the other baby terrapin. the only thing is that it seems like it is shedding or somethin....didnt know turtles did that but i guess it makes sense....maybe...reptiles....i guess. but anyway is there anything i should do about this? looks really weird....
as far as the law in RI goes it's illegal to own diamondback terrapin because they're endangered ... so i'd keep it on the DL about having one!
