Alright heres the plan; i am getting a 25 gallon hexagon tank, the person that owned it let the pump run so long dry that it melted everything around the magnet. my plan was to use the hex as a filter for a 40 gallon fish tank, along with a standard over the back one. basically pump 3 to 4 gallons a minute into the hex and use the substrate (pea gravel and some moss maybe) as a filter. put a paddle tail salamander or maybe some dart frogs in the hex. the hex will have live plants in it as well. what do ya guys think good idea? will it work? Please don't bash me it's just an idea, thanks.
