Hi, i was just wondering if anyone has had any problems with synodontis catfish being territorial? I had a 5inch notatus(one spot) in my 5ft african set up&he did not get along with my pair of lavender mbuna at all but i always thought it was the rustys starting all the trouble. Now i've gotten rid of all my africans&am in the process of turning the 5ft into an american tank. Last night i had to emergency evac my red devil into the 5ft to prevent him from killing my female jack dempsey(our pride&joy) and to my astonishment the synodontis came straight over with his fins erect&started bullying the red devil who is a tiny bit smaller but much tougher looking. He then proceeded to chase the devil around the tank (slowly!) the whole time with his fins up swishing from side to side like an angry shark&so far the red devil hasn't been able to do anything to stop it
