I have a Fimbriated Moray that is about 22 inches. He has lived with a Volitan for a little over a year now but has never been housed with any other eels.

I was thinking of purchasing a Tessy that is close to 3 foot.

Will it be possible for them to live together peacefully?

Tank would be a 210. (For now)

I am guessing that it will not work. What are your opinions? I really like this Fimbriated. It was my first saltwater creature, I don't want to have to worry about finding it mangled or worse some morning.

there's a thread already about his exact question.
i think they decided, no.

I wouldn't chance it, there is to much of a size difference in the two eels. If they were the same size I would say give it a try, but since they aren't I wouldn't try it.

No way is your basic answer. You could try it at the same size but the tess is way more agressive, grows twice as big twice as fast and they like to eat other eels so def not a good idea.
