I found out the hard way that the Jungle brand 5 in 1 test strips were very inaccurate, as much as 50-100 ppm. I've since been using API liquid tests. Are the API test strips more accurate? Is it really even worthy trying to use a test strip over a liquid test? I like the ease and convenience of the test strips...

Yup, liquid is the best.

I'm not a fan of the ammonia test strips by Jungle. Even dry, out of the bottle, the color is darker than the 0 reading comparison. This makes me question their accuracy.

I have not had a problem with the API test strips, other than to say that it's very difficult to get an accurate PH reading. Other values on the strip appear to be easy to read, and accurate when comparing to a liquid test kit.
