I ordered a black aro on tuesday for trhusday shipping.
Alex shipped it at 3.30 PM on thursday afternoon. I was expected to receive the fish no later by 2 PM on Friday.
I waited, waited, waited and nothing. I went to my local Post Office talked to the supervisor of the whole hub explaining the situation since NOONE knows where the fish is located. Last scan showed that it board the plane at 8.06PM out of Newark, NJ.
After driving to the aiport Post Office that night, I exhausted all search and PM'ed Alex on Friday night and I pretty much gave up.
The weather was in high 30's and freezing rain all day friday. I'd figured the fih is dead and I am mourning a fish that I have never seen alive..
Saturday morning at 11 AM, the mailman showed up with an Express Mail box. I was like ooh great...my dead fish..
I set the box aside, smoke a cigarette and getting my self prepared to see $ 270 goes down the drain...
Opened the box, hold and behold...there he is...the beautiful black arowana swimming around. He was pretty stressed out, but looks very healthy...
I must say if it weren't for a healthy specimen and Alex profesionalism in shipping and preparing the fish, he wouldn't have survived the Post office mishap. I am glad I bought from Alex...
Super thumbup for Alex and the beautiful black aro..
