Hello, in the journey of planning out my new aquascape I have picked some plants out of my yard. I have had them underwater for two weeks and they seem to be doing fine. Is there some sort of test i should do to find out if the plants are toxic to the fish? If so how do i do it?

Generally almost any plant can be put in a tank as long as just its roots are in water but I wouldn’t trust a plant pulled out of the yard to go in the tank. The best thing would be to post pictures of said plants for now.

I have no idea.....
I do know that buying fully aquatic plants would be a much better idea then getting wild plants and hoping that they can handle being submerged. I can also advise you on how to put non aquatic plants in a fish tank. Most non aquatic plants in my experience will do just fine if just their roots are in the water.
