Hey everyone. Well, I'm not a chemist but many people, including me, put salt in our freshwater tanks. I know the salt amount isn't very much but will the salt affect water testing kits that are for saltwater and the one's for freshwater? The salt isn't much so I think using the freshwater is still okay. Any opinions, Ed?

Same kit.. they just test for different thing ect... far as i'm aware of at least. I've always used the same ammonia/nitrite/nitrate kits for fw or sw... just a high range ph and other testers for sw as well.
