Do you guys know of any digital water meters that measure PH, nitrite, nitrate, and ammonia? What is a TDS meter and what is it used for in a FW aquaria? If such a meter or meters exist where can i find them?

TDS usually stands for "Total Dissolved Solids". Not 100% sure, but I think that would not be able to give you a breakdown of each water parameter, just a total of "stuff" in the water. As a horticulturist, I have used electronic pH meters and they are gettable, but kind of expensive. As far as measuring each of those individually, I don't think you will find any one device that will do all of them. I haven't ever seen any device that will measure several water parameters at once, whether fertilizer or aquarium parameters. My bet is that even if you could find one, the cost would not be worth it.

I used a TDS meter in SW to monitor my Ro/DI unit, I am not sure if they have a place in FW. Airwaterice.com might have them. Meters to measure the others would be very pricey.
