Tetra Pond PUV-4000 Pond Filter

I was thinking about getting one of these for my 200gal tank. it filters 2000GPH...a lillte overkill is always good .
I know i'm a little overstocked. please don't tell me about it..
In the 200gal is:
12" TO
9"JD
4"JD
4"TX
2"GT
5"FRONT
5"4 Line Cat.
there is no aggression.( they see enough titties and beer)
would this filter do me any good? comments?

it depends if you can mount it next to the tank. i believe thats the only way they will work. they also have to be seperatly pumped. if you get a big enough pump u may be able to use it under the tank!! not to sure on this one however, but if it did work, that would be a lot of filtering.

filter..$350 + pump..$180 = $520

Could be better spent on a UV sterilizer and a large DIY W/D.

But I don't know your talents or situation yet soooo.

i believe tetra pond filters are mostly a bio filter....might not leave the water as clear as you want.....

i found one with a uv for under $100 thats why i'm asking.
i could but more floss in the pump to help keep the water clear right?

i am running one on a 300 gallon bin for my frt...added some filter material and seems to be doing fine ( no uv)

buy it... if you dont like it i take it. hard to lose at $100 if its running !!!
