Tetra Prima for juvenile Cichlids

Is Tetra prima a good staple pellet for young cichlids?
Cant find hikari products here in SA.. this is the only small pellet I can find

Would not be my fist choice but if that is all you can get, then that is all you can get. Fish have been known to live and thrive being fed Tetra foods.

There are other large pellets from Nutrafin and Omega One.. Whats your opinion on them?

Nutrafin and Omega One too are good , I have seen many members swear by this food. I guess you are good to go.
Ever tried NLS or Hikari.....

You could also make your own frozen food mix using fresh ingredients - salmon, shrimp etc. Sounds like a pain, but its not too bad after a time or two & is alot cheaper in the long run.

Nope... I have searched for both here in SA and cant find anybody who stocks there products!

Between those two brands, I would choose the Omega One.
