Tetra Whisper EX70 qusetion

Hey I use the ex70 on my 56 gallon frog tank. It works great. I'm thinking about buying one for my 29, and I paid just under 50 bucks for it If I can remember right.

No offense for all the Tetra users out there, but I find them all to be noisy... and inefficient. They are self priming, which is nice. And these have a lot better set up than the old and more simple Tetras, but for the $45 aquaclear (there's a sticky in general freshwater) you can have a lot more bang for your buck.
Cassharper, I agree they can be a bit noisy. But when you have sponge filters and other filters going I really can't tell, lol. Plus I only use it about 3-4 days a week(frogs are sensitive to vibration) so it's okay. I did see the $45 Aqua Clears but have read that thread and about peple getijng them all messed and what not or a part not working, and didn't feel like messing with it. Next time I get a filter I'm going to try the AC's ones though and see how they work.
