Yesterday I found Tetra Cichlid Jumbo Sticks at Walmart for $9.99 for the big can 7.4oz. I was getting Tetra JumboMin Food sticks at the lfs for $19.99 for the same size can. It looks to be the exact same product not sure which is current production from Tetra. Does anyone know? Huge price difference so I bought 2 cans! My fish love these food sticks and eat them from my hand.

Check the nutrition info and and ingredients on the back
Upon close examination I found what appears to be date codes. On the JumboMin Food Sticks the code is 200121 USA. That would be the 21st week of 2001.. Crap thats some old *** sticks man! That will teach me to look at date codes next time I'm at the lfs... $20 bucks for old sticks.. grrrrr

The Sticks I got at Wallyworld are date coded 200612 US (12th week of 2006) and look to have a more updated label and they boast about patented ProCare formula (vitamins, Omega 3, and Biotin 800).

Biotin 800 at 800uG/KG
This stuff optimize the general condition of hooves, skin and hair coat of horses at higher doses. Wonder weather this stuff really does anything for fish at this low dose of 800 micrograms per kilogram of food...

Other than that the Guaranteed Analysis is virtually identical.
