Both items are slightly used but work great and have been kept very clean. I guarantee this will be the only filter you will ever need for any monster tank 240 gal or under. I had it filtering my 180 gal which HAD the following fish:
3 20" Australian Lung
1 20" African Aro
4 12" Endli
15 6" Prochilodus
4 8" FRT
2 8" Weeksi
2 10" Planiceps
Fish are long gone as well as the tank.
My tank was always crystal clear, granted it was in the basement so it never really got a lot of sunlight. But I never had any algae or cloudy water problems ever. I truly believe it was the huge load of bioballs the filter has the capacity to hold as well as the UV lighting.
