I was thinking of using a TetraPond 1500 (750gph) or a 2500 (1500GPH) on my 150. it seems like it will be a mess to use with the backflush valve and not having any type of quick disconnects when cleaning it. Does anyone use these on their tanks or have any imput?

i think it could work it may be a better filter or worse.

seems kinda crazy. but it could work... you might wanna ask this in DIY where u can have ppl help u think of ideas

Any special reason you want to do this?

If you've already got a pump it's cheaper.

Your going to have to alter the filter material since a pond isn't filtered as well as an aquarium. Your going to want to polish the water a little more.

You can make your own quick disconnects, or purchase them and install valves and drain line for the backflush feature.

I think we talked about this before somewhere.
