Tetras and Angels

Would it be a problem to keep tetras and angels together in a planted aquarium?

ive kept angels with pristillas and never had a problem. but make sure you have a school of at least five.

a rule of thumb if it fits there mouth don't get it

I had 3 angels in a tank with tetras and other small fish. They were fine untill one day 2 of them decided to pair up and try breeding. They killed most of the other small fish in the tank that were too slow when that happened.

Thank you for ya'lls helpful advice, I would never have thought that the angels would eat the tetras.

they won't if they are big enough... you can try black neon's, and lemon tetras, monk tetras, or cardinal tetras... these are the commmon names that I know them by you should also try (tanichthys Albonubes) the new white cloud...

I have grown out angels until they mated in 55g-150g tanks in tetra communities no problems.

well, i had fifteen cardinals in my planted tank with my two angels.... am down to three... have yet to find a carcass... so, am thinking the larger angel has been "busy"... just my experience...
