I added a few Tetras to my tank over the week and found out they make good ditchers.... Is this the right term? they are picking on the moon fish and tetras in side the tank... They havent even picked on the pleco or the SAE... nor dug any areas out... Anyone else have this kinda luck? Remember im new to my cichlids so i dont know if they dig or what :)

It is when you have plants around and rocks stacked on top. My last pair of cons Keep knocking over rocks and wood.

What size tank?
What other fish?
What are "moonfish"?
What kind of tetras?

The kind of tetras you use as dithers with determine whether or not they are a good choice.
I recommend Buenos Aires tetras as dithers for medium-medium/large more aggressive SA's and CA's because they're fast and aggressive themselves.
Neon tetras could would be eaten by most cichlids.
Serpaes are incessant fin nippers and I don't recommend them for anything.

I've used Congo tetras as dithers.
Dugging is normal.
