oscar has like 4 bite marks and a lil nip on the tail, its a jack dempsey, tiger oscar and a tex cichlid the tex and oscar are about the same size but the oscar is getting way bigger faster same length alot thicker and wider. which was expected obvi. do you think that the fighting could be because of the new formation of the tank. ex. removing the pots and useing caves instead. also will the bite marks effect the coloration of the oscar as well? all help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, These monsters are very territorial, they will need hiding places and room. Try that first if it doesn't help. You will need a divider or a seperate tank! Keep me posted!

definitly will.. also there still juv like 2.5 in lol little monsters haha. i think the pots would help.

Little monsters, lol! Yeah pots. When they get older divider or build a school! Keep up the good work!
