Right now I have in one of my 75 gallon tanks a 6-7" Texas and 3 very young Midas ranging from 1-1.5" I put an egg crate divider up since the Texas while in my other 75 was very aggressive towards my Oscars and my Green Terror. The 3 Midas are able to swim back and forth through the divider and seem to spend 99% of the time on the side with the Texas so I'm debating taking down the divider. He seems to pay no real attention to the Midas while they are on his side of the tank. So my question is do you guys think they should be ok allowing the 4 of them to have the whole tank undivided?

With that size tank, what's in it, and the Tex at the maturing stage, I would just leave the crate up.. You could try, and possibly loose some, or leave it and not. But once the Midas' start getting to the size where they can't fit through it, it'll be time to upgrade anyways..

I got him from a guy off here and put him in my other 75 while I was setting the tank he is in now up. I'm not sure what size tank he was in before but he wanted to get rid of him since he was beating on his GT. They are already past the point of not fitting through the egg crate I cut out some larger openings for them already.

For the time being, removing the divider would be fine. But you should take care to make plans for the midas. First the midas will turn on each other until only one is left. Then that lone fish with likely turn on your texas cichlid. With midas it can happen overnight. You have some time to work with as the midas are still young.
