Hiyas!
i have one texas cichlid 5'
and two oscars 3 + 4'

the oscars are bossing the texas around, i was going to try and move all the tank ornaments around so as to disperse and territories they may have made.....sound like a good idea?
its a 240g tank.

-Cheers

Hello, agression isues are tough. If you have a mating pair you may just want to divide the tank.

Oscars don't become sexually active until they are around 6". Also i personally think it's trial and error getting tank mates i know a guy who has ram cichlids living in a tank with an Oscar his set up is rocky and planted so his ram's do have some where to retreat if it gets abit too much for them. His Oscars is only 6/7" at the moment but and he could very well turn of the little fellas but so far so good !

I'm sure someone on this site has an Arowana living with some tetras in a planted tank ! I'm sure someone mentioned it on here !

What i'd suggest you do is move your tank about like you said make more territory for the Oscars and the Texas failing that i'd suggest you decide which fish you like the most and get rid of the other. But law of the land say's the Oscars would win if they ganged up of your Texas.

i have a texas with a pacu but had it with an oscar in a small tank no aggression so no help kinda sorry

More structure in the tank would break things up more(limited sight) and hopefully curb aggression. Sometimes you can encounter super aggressive fish whose goal sometimes to be "seek and destroy".
