they have eggs and are guarding them. they are still pretty young so they might eat them. this is the third batch of eggs from the salvini, but she laid them with a male parrot last time. then she laid them for a female parrot. i don't know if this cross can happen, but i will check to see if the eggs are fertilized when i get home from work. i was hoping for this cross because i think that if the fry get all the good traits from the parents, they could turn out nice. i will just have to wait and see....texas and salvini spawned

I bred texas and salvini.turned out ok but only got to grow one out.Its about six inches now my buddy has one of the fry witch has alot more of the salvini color.But it is only like an inch so not sure how it is goin to turn out.
i took some quick shots. one of the texas was from the other day. there are some white eggs. i hope the salvini will eat those soon. it is hard to get a good look at the eggs right now because of the tunnel. one or two more days and we will see how many hatch.
