I have notice as of yesterday my Texas cichlid is trying to pester my 10 inch Oscar, yet my Oscar wont do a single thing about it,like it doesn't even bother him at all.The Texas tried to do that to the other larger Cichlids, but the Jack Dempsey right away scared the texas, same with the Green Terror and Severum scaring the texas off.55 gallon tank is torn down,so I can't really seperate anyone honestly.Issue is I feed my guys really well,so there for,I am not going to feed my Oscar just yet,so he can snap out of it and scared the hell out of this Texas.Right now the Oscar has his mind on bloodworms and krill.

haha hopefully that snaps him out of his little dream world he is in

My oscar is too damn goofy honestly, his personality is so strange, that my brothers oscars are the same thing and will attack anything that tries to attack them, then again they're in a pair,I have just a single oscar.Other then that, the oscar knows how to defend himself,I have seen since day one against any of the fishes I have had with him.I know recently he scared my Black Convict, because the convict went to bite him.I notice he becomes quite lazy when fed twice a day though and wont do much.

i would take the texas out and put him in a bucket with of course the tank water and a bubbler in it. put a blanket on the top too so no light gets in then after a few hours put him back in the tank. he will not have time to go after the oscar bc the other fish will be flexing their territorial muscles. ive had to do this many of times and 60% of the time it works all the time. jking its never failed me.

cool, thank you,I noticed the Texas went to go at my Oscar again and the Oscar turned around chased the Texas away.I noticed my Oscar gets lazy after feeding him twice a day.So I want him to be more active and realize what is going on.
