Texas cichlid and a blackbelt cichlid ever been mixed? PICS

My texas which is the female has been trying to court with the blackbelt cichlid for some time and it seems like the black finally gave in and has paired with the texas. I have raised both of them since juveniles along with the other fish a butta, festae, fredrich in a 55 gallon.

It's definitely possible. My Hartwegi and Texas spawned and got many fry, which lasted only a few days due to loach annihilation.
 
texas's seem to breed with anything. Thats why I just picked one up for $1 at my lfs.
 
is that the same texas from the first pictures? It looks like a gt now.
