you can leave them with the parents until it looks like they may breed again. I have babies of my Motaguensis still with their parents at 2 months, but that is pushing in it. Babies grow quick with their parents, as they feed off the mucus coat from them and all the little pcs of food expelled through parents gills. Leave them for another 2 weeks and them take them out. Texas cichlids are good parents.

the reason i was asking is i have over 400 fish all cichlids and i need to get rid of some plus i have a woman that wants some of the babies and i needed to know when i can give them away
