Approx. 3-3.5". Usually shows a lot of black under its mouth and black bars on the back half of its body (not visible in the pix). It's turning out to be a pretty nice one and showing some attitude, but I need to get rid of some stock. $10 O.B.O. no shipping (not worth it for a cheaper easier to find fish)
 
location is in my sig, but more specifically I range from Denver to Fort Collins, CO regularly
 
Wish it was a male, I would probably take it.
 
I don't know what the sexual dimorphism is. What is the difference? I bought it really small and didn't know what it was. It was labeled as a red terror and must have jumped from the Texas tank, so IDK much about Texas cichlids.

If this means you can't tell if it is a carpintis or a texas, it is a texas. (herichthys cyanoguttatus)
